Country singer Joe Nicols had a #1 Billboard Hot Country Songs hit with Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off in 2005. Songwriters Hannan and Wiggins often tell the story about how they sat at a bar getting drunk and started jotting down lyrics on a cocktail napkin. They had no idea when they wrote the song -- mostly as a joke -- that it would become so popular.
The song was about a woman who likes to drink tequila, but when she does, she loses all her inhibitions . . . and her clothes come off!
